About this experience
Explore Iceland’s winter landscapes in warmth and comfort with the Winter Explorer Bundle. This complete clothing rental package is ideal for sightseeing, outdoor adventures and enjoying Iceland’s changing winter weather.
The package includes:
• Warm winter parka
• Outdoor pants
• Beanie
• Snow gloves
• Hiking boots
Choose the rental duration that suits your trip, from one day up to fourteen days. The date selected during booking is the first day of your rental. Your equipment must be returned on the morning following the final rental day.
You can collect and return the equipment free of charge at Útilíf, Skeifan 11d, Reykjavík. Delivery and collection from hotels or Airbnb accommodation may also be selected for an additional fee.
After selecting your rental option, you will be asked to provide the required clothing and shoe sizes for each traveler.
Please note: This is a clothing and footwear rental package. It does not include a guided tour, admission fees or technical glacier safety equipment.

• Thermal base layers and personal clothing
• Technical glacier equipment, such as helmets, crampons or safety harnesses
• Delivery and collection unless selected and paid for during booking

The winter parka, outdoor pants, beanie, gloves and hiking boots are included in the rental package.
• The date selected during booking is the first day of the rental.
• Equipment must be returned on the morning following the final rental day. For example, a four-day rental beginning on 22 July must be returned on the morning of 26 July.
• Each traveller must provide their preferred fit, parka size, outdoor pants size, glove and hat size, and shoe size during booking.
• Free self-collection and return are available at Útilíf, Skeifan 11d, Reykjavík.
• Optional delivery and collection from hotels and Airbnb accommodation in the Reykjavík area are available for an additional fee.
• Delivery and collection times must be arranged in advance.
• This is a clothing and footwear rental package, not a guided activity.

Cancellation for this tour
Cancelling costs 5% of the price within 365 days of departure, rising to 20% within 6 days. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund or a new date.

Iceland's weather is real. What usually stops this one is a forecast the operator judges unsafe. Here is exactly what happens to your booking.
- 1Tourvo decides, and tells us. Operators cancel when it is unsafe or pointless, and we back that call every time — we do not ask them to run anyway.
- 2We contact you by email, and by phone if your tour is the same or next day. You choose: another date if there is one you can make, or a full refund. There is no fee and nothing to argue.
- 3The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually visible within a few working days. If this tour was one of several in your booking, the others are untouched.
What you do not get is the day back. If this is the only free day in your plan, put a spare day next to it — the planner leaves days free with the rest-day option. And if you want out because the forecast looks bad, that is your own cancellation: free until the cutoff shown above, the operator's policy after that.
