Who you are booking with

Iceland Trip Planner is a reseller operated by Formáli ehf. (registration 6708201140, VAT 138974), Hafnarstræti 6, 400 Ísafjörður, Iceland. Tours and experiences are operated by the independent Icelandic companies named on each product. When you book, you enter a contract with the operator for the experience and with us for the booking service; payment is processed securely through Bókun.

Cancellation

Most tours can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Some experiences — multi-day packages, private tours and certain adventure activities — carry stricter terms, which are shown on the product page and in your confirmation before you pay. Those terms take precedence for that booking.

If an operator cancels — for weather, safety or operational reasons — you receive a full refund or, where you prefer, a rebooking. Iceland's weather is real; operators cancel when conditions are unsafe, and we back that decision every time.

Changes

Date and participant changes are free where the operator has availability, up to the same cutoff as cancellation. Contact us at info@icelandtripplanner.is and we will handle it with the operator.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros including Icelandic VAT unless stated otherwise. The price at checkout is the price you pay — there is no booking fee. Card payments are processed by Stripe through Bókun; we never see or store your card details.

Your responsibilities

Please read the product page for age limits, fitness requirements, what to bring and pickup instructions. Arrive at the meeting point or be ready for pickup at the stated time; operators cannot wait. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for any trip to Iceland.

Hotel requests

Hotel suggestions made through the planner are confirmed by email with their own price and cancellation terms before any payment is taken.

Law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
