This package is an immersive journey through Iceland’s most iconic landscapes, beginning with a transfer from Keflavik International Airport to Reykjavik for a city sightseeing tour featuring Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik City Hall, Tjörnin Pond, and the Old Harbour, followed by an evening Northern Lights hunt. On the second day, enjoy the Krysuvik - Blue Lagoon - Reykjanes Tour exploring the Seltún Geothermal Area, the Bridge Between Continents, and the mineral-rich Blue Lagoon. The adventure continues on day three with a full-day Golden Circle Tour of Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall, followed by a day four excursion along the South Coast to witness Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, and the village of Vík. Day five combines the floating icebergs of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the crystal fragments at Diamond Beach with a subterranean exploration of the Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel. The itinerary concludes on day six with a visit to the Friðheimar Tomato Farm for a geothermal greenhouse lunch, and a final day seven transfer from Reykjavik back to Keflavik International Airport.

- Itinerary order may change slightly depending on weather conditions. The total duration of the tour may vary depending on road conditions, weather, and the amount of time spent at each location. Flexibility is recommended to ensure the best possible experience.
- The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Their visibility depends on a combination of factors, including clear skies, solar activity, and local weather conditions. While we carefully monitor forecasts and choose locations with the highest chance of sightings, nature ultimately decides if the aurora will appear.
- If conditions are unfavorable and the Northern Lights are not visible during your tour, guests are usually offered the opportunity to rebook for another night (subject to availability). Please note that the fee for the initial tour remains the same and is non-refundable, as costs are incurred for transportation, guiding, and operations regardless of aurora visibility. However, the rebooking gives you a second chance to experience the lights without paying for an entirely new tour.
- Please ensure you receive a confirmation email, ticket, or receipt containing all the necessary details of your booking. Double-check that your travel dates, pick-up/drop-off locations, and passenger information are correct. If you do not receive a confirmation, kindly contact us as soon as possible to verify your reservation.
- Iceland’s weather can be highly unpredictable, with conditions often changing rapidly throughout the day. We recommend dressing in layers so you can easily adjust to temperature shifts. A warm base layer, an insulating mid-layer, and a waterproof and windproof outer layer are ideal. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes with good grip are also advised, especially for exploring outdoor sites. Don’t forget to bring gloves, a hat, and a waterproof jacket to stay comfortable in case of rain or strong winds.
- The service is accessible to travelers with mobility issues; however, some areas may have uneven terrain and are not ideal for wheelchairs. Travelers must be able to get in and out of the vehicle with minimal assistance and should be comfortable with moderate physical activity, including walking and standing for extended periods. Please consult a doctor if you have skin conditions, heart problems, or other health concerns related to the geothermal waters. For any special requirements, please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Cancellation for this tour
Free cancellation until 24 hours before departure; no refund after that. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund or a new date.
If the weather cancels this tour
Iceland's weather is real. What usually stops this one is a forecast the operator judges unsafe. Here is exactly what happens to your booking.
- 1Iceland Panorama Tours decides, and tells us. Operators cancel when it is unsafe or pointless, and we back that call every time — we do not ask them to run anyway.
- 2We contact you by email, and by phone if your tour is the same or next day. You choose: another date if there is one you can make, or a full refund. There is no fee and nothing to argue.
- 3The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually visible within a few working days. If this tour was one of several in your booking, the others are untouched.
What you do not get is the day back. If this is the only free day in your plan, put a spare day next to it — the planner leaves days free with the rest-day option. And if you want out because the forecast looks bad, that is your own cancellation: free until 1 day before departure, the operator's policy after that.

Sold out on your date?
Seats come back — a cancellation, or the operator adding a vehicle. Tell us the date and we will check once a day and email you if one opens. One email, then we delete the address; nothing else is ever sent to it.
Who this is not for
- Priced per vehicle, so it is poor value for one or two people and good value for four or more sharing.
Read off the operator's own conditions. If none of it applies to you, this is a good one.

Great Northern Lights Tour Experience! Booked through Iceland Panorama Tours and everything was smooth from start to finish. The website was easy to use, and the booking process was quick and clear. The tour itself was amazing—friendly and knowledgeable guide, comfortable transport, and well-organized itinerary. They really made an effort to find the best spots, and we were lucky to witness the Northern Lights in all their beauty. Overall, a very professional and memorable experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Iceland!

Airport transfers — questions people ask
How do I get from Keflavík Airport to Reykjavík?
It is about 50 kilometres and 45 minutes by road; there is no train. Scheduled airport coaches run to the BSÍ terminal after every arrival and are the cheapest option. Private transfers (/experience/942190/, /experience/1193487/) meet you at the door and drop you at your hotel, worth it for families or late arrivals. Taxis are expensive. If you are stopping at the Blue Lagoon, book a transfer that includes it (/experience/1036423/).
How early should I be at Keflavík Airport for my flight?
Two and a half hours before a European flight and three before North America; the airport is small and queues bunch around the morning and afternoon departure waves. From central Reykjavík allow 45 to 60 minutes' driving plus a buffer in winter weather. That means leaving your hotel three and a half to four hours before departure. Coaches and transfers work backwards from your flight time when you book.
How do I get to Landmannalaugar without a 4x4?
By highland bus. From late June to September, scheduled transfers run from Reykjavík to Landmannalaugar (/experience/247406/, /experience/914986/) and back, about four hours each way on gravel and river crossings. The return-in-a-day option (/experience/270187/) gives you several hours at the site. Rental cars without 4x4 are not insured on these roads and get stuck. If you are hiking Laugavegur, the luggage transfer (/experience/1036525/) moves your bag hut to hut.
Is a private airport transfer worth it?
For three or more people, or a night arrival, yes. The coach drops you at a terminal or a hotel bus stop and you may need a shuttle or a walk with luggage; a private car goes door to door and waits if your flight is late. For a couple on a daytime flight with light bags, the coach is fine and much cheaper. Check the tour page for what happens if your flight is delayed.
