SagaVR - Experience Iceland from above
by SagaVR · Sightseeing day tours · Reykjavík

Would this be cheaper direct? No — we sell at SagaVR's own price and take our commission from them, not from you. What you get here is one checkout across operators, one confirmation, and one place to change or cancel it. If you ever find it cheaper on their own site, tell us and we will match it or explain why we cannot.

Good to know
Bring your sense of wonder. We’ve got the rest covered.
Cancellation for this tour
No refund once booked. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund or a new date.
Why this one and not the cheaper one?
The nearest cheaper Golden Ride – Day tour in Golden Circle area from Íslandshestar is €0 — €31 less. Here is every difference we can actually measure.
| SagaVR · €31 | Íslandshestar · €0 | |
|---|---|---|
| How long it runs | 0.5 hours | 1 hour |
On everything we can measure, the Íslandshestar tour is the better buy. The €31 is not buying anything we can point to, so unless you want this operator in particular, take the cheaper one.
Sold out on your date?
Seats come back — a cancellation, or the operator adding a vehicle. Tell us the date and we will check once a day and email you if one opens. One email, then we delete the address; nothing else is ever sent to it.
Who this is not for
- Children under 5 cannot join this one.
- Not the one to book if your dates might move: this operator does not refund once booked.
Read off the operator's own conditions. If none of it applies to you, this is a good one.
Why we list it
SagaVR is one of 154 operators we work with — chosen for reliability, honest descriptions and how they treat guests when weather changes plans. We don't list everything; we list what we'd book ourselves. The six checks every operator passes →

Fun way to get a “taste” of Iceland by experiencing all of the regions virtually! The manager/owner was lovely, ensured comfort and that device was working as it should~ breath taking views of all the landscapes And Northern Lights, which we we wouldn’t get to experience during our visit this time (May/Summer time). Perfect amount of time~ 20 minutes to preview the start of our 2 week vacation.

SagaVR is great, was there with my man and 5 years old son and we loved it. We know Iceland very well and it was fantastic to see it all in 20 minutes and the volcanos 🇮🇸❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful time and it’s inspired our next trip! This was so much fun! If you’re considering visiting, go for it. You won’t regret the breathtaking scenery and fantastic narration. The staff is also amazing and helpful!
