All of the above is computed from Húsavík Adventures's own 2 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

From the operator's own Bókun vendor record. The year is when the company's registration number was issued, which is the closest thing to a founding date that can be checked at skatturinn.is; the brand may be older or younger than the company. Their own site: husavikadventures.is — same price there as here.

This was a great experience! Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable on the subject. My main thing would be that you shouldn’t get your hopes up for a crazy whale sighting. The most you can usually see is the whale’s top and maybe a whale tail if you’re lucky. We booked the whale and puffin tour for three hours. The captain of the boat made the ride feel like a rollercoaster and it was very fun. He was also kind enough to let us steer the boat for a bit. Puffin island was fun but a bit sad because we learned that the island is privately owned by people who hunt the puffins and sell their meat. We were surprised when the tour guide brought us to see this huge family of dolphins that were having fun because it wasn’t mentioned before. That might’ve been the highlight of the tour because as said before, the whales were hard to see. Overall it was a great experience.

Captain Sofía and Kajetan, our guide, made the trip worthwhile in their own right. But we were even luckier than that and got to watch a humpback whale breaching and playing right in front of us for over an hour. It was undoubtedly a unique moment and the best whale-watching experience I’ve ever had. Thank you very much for your professionalism and warmth.

Thanks to Captain Sophie. We had a wonderful adventure of Whales and Puffins watching! Our guide Tekjok is also good to explain all the details about humpback and minke whales we observed in two hours of this morning. Highly recommend to attend the speedy boat whale watching tour if you are visiting in this area.

One of our best experience of the trip. We saw puffins, dolphins and 2 different types of whale! I recommend the trip with the RIB, nobody in our excursion got sea sick. It actually seemed better on our boat than the bigger one and gave us more time to see the whales. The guide was very informative and gave a lot of informations and details about what species we were seeing. I fully recommend this excursion!
