We didn't do the hot springs SPA but came to for the dinner. I really like to give a 6 stars to the meals we ordered. I think this restaurant is the best in town. Good service and atmosphere 😍 Highly recommended 👍

Top. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely outstanding experience. Krauma is a unique place, immersed in Icelandic nature, where relaxation is total. The geothermal pools, fed by the powerful Deildartunguhver hot spring, offer different temperatures so everyone can find the perfect one. The setting is modern, elegant, and at the same time authentic, with beautiful saunas, a steam room, and very atmospheric relaxation areas. The atmosphere is peaceful and never overcrowded, the staff are kind and professional, and the facilities are spotless. After just a few minutes, you feel completely renewed. A must-do experience in Iceland for anyone seeking wellness, silence, and breathtaking landscapes. Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for a peaceful alternative to the larger and more crowded lagoons, this is a place you shouldn’t miss. What makes Krauma truly unique is its connection to Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. The naturally hot geothermal water is carefully mixed with fresh glacial water, creating pools that are always at a comfortable temperature. Knowing that you’re bathing in water coming directly from one of Iceland’s most remarkable geothermal sources makes the experience even more special. One of the things I appreciate most whenever I bring guests here is the calm atmosphere. Unlike some of the more famous lagoons, Krauma never feels overwhelming. It’s quiet, beautifully designed, and surrounded by stunning Icelandic scenery. Whether you’re visiting after a long day of sightseeing or simply looking for a place to unwind, it’s incredibly easy to relax here. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the staff are always welcoming and professional. I also recommend taking some time to enjoy the relaxation room and the steam bath. The combination of warm geothermal water, fresh Icelandic air, and the peaceful surroundings creates an experience that’s difficult to describe until you’ve experienced it yourself. Another reason I often recommend Krauma to my tour groups is that it feels genuinely Icelandic. Instead of focusing on crowds or social media photos, the emphasis is on relaxation, nature, and well-being. Many of my guests tell me afterward that they actually enjoyed Krauma more than some of Iceland’s larger and more famous geothermal spas because it felt more intimate and authentic. Amazing place with warm waters, a infrared sauna (that’s the best), cold plunge and a fire place to nap after you tried the amazing restaurant! We are still dreaming about that amazing lamb we had, the best so far. If you are looking to treat yourself, this is the place !
