I did this tour with Edgar, who made the glacier hike even more exciting than it originally was. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about glaciers, caves and also animals that live around. He was patient and very optimistic, it was clear he loved his job and transmited that to the group.
It was a 12 person group for a 3-4 hour tour and we first went to the beginning of the glacier by bus (great driver). From there we walked to a small ice cave, which to be honest is very different from what some of the pictures show, but we were aware of the likelihood of the cave being smaller. After all, ice caves are formed by nature and, just as they come, they go. They strive to find the best (and safest) ice caves around the area to make the cherry on top of the glacier walk, which was what we did for most of the tour. The cave was very blue and wide enough for us to go in and out. We only got about 10 minutes in it, barely enough to take some photos and enjoy it, but I understand there were more groups coming in.
Then we walked up the glacier through its crevasses, it was such an unforgettable experience. We saw some more ice formations along the way and then proceeded to walk back down. It was quite a long hike, but not difficult at all if you're used to walking up hills.

Our guide was awesome, super easy hike. Even if you're not an outdoorsy person Don't let uncertainty of difficulty or equipment use deter you from seeing the once in a lifetime opportunity. They make everything as easy! See it while you can.

The ice cave tour was better than I ever imagined!! We spent almost 2 hours moving through different rooms in the ice cave and our guide Eddy from Italy was SO knowledgeable about the glacier and the geology and details, he had an answer for every question and a few jokes too. Absolutely hands down recommended Troll for the cave tour, I've seen people disappointed with other tours but this one was phenomenal!
