All of the above is computed from The Cave's own 3 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

This was an amazing experience! The guide we had were funny, kept our spirit up and was a really good educator. Very interesting and well worth the trip. We were there at 6pm, and we were 8 ppl waling the cave. We went in about 800 meters. The cave is quite big! There were a part, about 5/7 meters where you had to bend down a bit, but other then that, not claustrophobic at all. You get to see alot of interesting things, learn a lot about the area, the cave, how things are made and even tutch and hold different things from the cave. It is a bit cold, so yes, do have warm clothes if you are not used to it beeing cold. The trip/walk takes around 1,5 hours and you don't have to be fit to walk the walk. PS: put all your valuables and rings in a pocket, you dont want to loose it in here. Not everything is easy to retrieve. If you are thinking about it, just DO IT!

We had a great adventure exploring Víðgelmir Cave. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the cave’s history and geology in an interesting way. The cave is impressively long, with spectacular lava formations and unique geological features. It was a fascinating experience and definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in Iceland’s volcanic landscape. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience exploring the lava cave! The tour was fascinating from start to finish, and the cave itself is truly impressive with an incredible atmosphere. It was such a special opportunity to learn more about the cave, its origins, and the natural forces that shaped it over time. A special thank you to Jan for making the tour so engaging, informative, and fun. His knowledge about the cave, it's geological formation, and it's history was outstanding, and he shared everything with such enthusiasm that every minute was interesting. He also had a great sense of humor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend taking this tour!

Fantastic place to visit and a very well organised tour. The cave was much more extensive than I had expected, walking at least 600m into the lava cave. Lots of interesting sights and our guide was very informative. Only one short stretch of the cave requires you to duck down to get through, the rest is very open. A great boardwalk takes you all the way along apart from one short stretch that had temporary boards over some water. A thoroughly recommended stop if you are anywhere in the vicinity.
