About this experience

This tour will bring you to the secret and hidden glaciers tongues of Vatnajökull glacier, the largest glacier in Europe. Departing from Höfn, we will head to the Vatnajökull National Park. Depending on weather and road conditions, we will be exploring 3 - 4 secret glaciers on this day. Most of these glacier tongues are not easily accessible. Our expert driver-guide will take you on an unforgetable trip to these spectacular glaciers.

Moderate hiking is needed for this trip.

    Our mate was incredibly kind and explained everything so clearly, and her driving was smooth and comfortable, which made traveling in the car very relaxing. Since all of us love taking photos, we sometimes moved a bit slowly while stopping for pictures, but she patiently waited for us every time and even took amazing photos of us. We also loved being able to experience Iceland’s stunning landscapes and enjoy truly special moments that are not easy to experience elsewhere, such as glacier trekking and witnessing the aurora. It was truly the best tour we could have asked for, and we were extremely satisfied. If you’re looking for a tour that feels like traveling together in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend this one!
