About this experience
Get ready for an unforgettable journey through Iceland’s most legendary sights — with a blissful twist. Our Golden Circle Adventure with Laugaras Lagoon combines epic landscapes, thrilling natural wonders, and the ultimate geothermal relaxation.
Þingvellir National Park
Step into history and nature at once. Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is where Iceland’s first parliament was founded — and where the earth itself is pulling apart. Wander between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, feel the ancient energy of this rift valley, and soak up the raw beauty of Iceland’s heartland.
Geysir Geothermal Area
Next stop — the land that gave all geysers their name. Watch in awe as Strokkur erupts sky-high every few minutes, sending steaming columns of water into the air. Bubbling mud pools, hissing vents, and the unmistakable scent of adventure make this stop pure geothermal magic.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Feel the power of nature at the majestic Gullfoss, the “Golden Falls.” Cascading into a dramatic canyon, this two-tiered waterfall thunders and glistens in the sunlight — a perfect photo stop and a true Icelandic icon.
Laugaras Lagoon. Surrounded by nature, you’ll soak in warm, mineral-rich waters with a drink in hand, watching the steam rise against the Icelandic sky. It’s relaxation, rejuvenation, and that perfect “ahhh” moment you’ve been waiting for.
Kerið Crater
Descend into the fiery past at the Kerið volcanic crater. The deep red slopes contrast brilliantly with the vivid blue lake at its heart — a spectacular reminder of Iceland’s volcanic soul.

If the weather cancels this tour
Iceland's weather is real. What usually stops this one is a forecast the operator judges unsafe. Here is exactly what happens to your booking.
- 1Simply Iceland decides, and tells us. Operators cancel when it is unsafe or pointless, and we back that call every time — we do not ask them to run anyway.
- 2We contact you by email, and by phone if your tour is the same or next day. You choose: another date if there is one you can make, or a full refund. There is no fee and nothing to argue.
- 3The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually visible within a few working days. If this tour was one of several in your booking, the others are untouched.
What you do not get is the day back. If this is the only free day in your plan, put a spare day next to it — the planner leaves days free with the rest-day option. And if you want out because the forecast looks bad, that is your own cancellation: free until 999 days before departure, the operator's policy after that.

| Changing your mind | Free until 23976 h before | Free until 24 h before |
The €73 buys you 1 more hour out and free cancellation up to 23976 h before. Whether that is worth it is your call — but that is what the difference is.
Sold out on your date?
Seats come back — a cancellation, or the operator adding a vehicle. Tell us the date and we will check once a day and email you if one opens. One email, then we delete the address; nothing else is ever sent to it.
Who this is not for
- Not for last-minute planners — free cancellation ends 999 days before, longer than most tours here.
Read off the operator's own conditions. If none of it applies to you, this is a good one.

What a day on the glacier! I was on the glacier on a snowmobile two years ago, but Simply Iceland is worlds better. An amazing tour with great people. A big thank you to Gabriela and her colleague for the fantastic tour. Top-notch snowmobiles, top-notch location—just simply the best. Five stars aren’t even enough, but I can’t give any more. Thanks from Ingo and Jian

My fiancée and I went snowmobiling on a glacier, and it was one of the best adrenaline experiences of our lives. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather with a cloud inversion, which made it even better. Since it was the beginning of September, the snow wasn’t the absolute best, but it was far from terrible. Our guides Gabriela and Eva explained the rules and operation of the snowmobiles very thoroughly, and the ride in the modified 4x4 was another major highlight. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this activity more. PS: If possible, get your own snowmobile instead of sharing one for two people.

We had the best time ever snowmobiling this week, a once in a lifetime opportunity and something we will never forget. Felt really safe and well equipped with gear. 10/10 would recommend :)

Snowmobiling on Langjöjull glacier was a wonderful experience! We chose the "meet on location" version and drove to Húsafell ourselves, but transportation from Reykjavik is also available. The tour started with a superjeep ride to the snowmobiles. This took only about half an hour, but our guide told us that in the winter the drive was sometimes up to 2 hours due to the road conditions. Beautiful scenery and despite the rough road the drive on the superjeep was really comfortable. Once we reached the snowmobiles we met our snowmobile guide, who showed us how to operate the snowmobiles and went over some safety instructions. The snowmobiling was so much fun! The guide was wonderful at taking into account the different speeds everyone in the group was comfortable with, ensuring that no one was left behind while allowing us to go fast enough to feel the thrill of speeding through the snow. We were provided with helmets and coveralls for the tour, and there were gloves as well for those who hadn't brought their own. The guides, Gabrilla and Robert Orri, took great care of the group keeping everyone safe and making sure each and every person left from the glacier with wonderful memories of the time we spent there. I have no complaints whatsoever of the experience and encourage everyone looking for a fun day to book this tour!

Lagoons & spas — questions people ask
Is the Blue Lagoon worth it or is it too touristy?
It is busy and it is worth it, once. The water is milky blue from silica, the setting in the Reykjanes lava is unlike anywhere else, and it sits twenty minutes from Keflavík Airport, so it fits an arrival or departure day. Book a time slot in advance; it sells out. If crowds bother you, go early morning or after 20:00. The Secret Lagoon or Fontana on the Golden Circle are calmer and cheaper alternatives.
Can I do the Blue Lagoon on the way to or from the airport?
Yes, and it is the best way to use it. Transfers like IceTransfer's Keflavík to Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík (/experience/1036423/) or the reverse (/experience/1036419/) stop at the lagoon for a few hours with your luggage stored. Allow at least three hours at the lagoon and check that your slot lines up with your flight. Note that the Reykjanes eruptions have closed the lagoon at short notice; check its status before travelling.
What is the difference between the Secret Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon?
The Secret Lagoon at Flúðir is a simple, warm geothermal pool with a bubbling hot spring beside it and basic changing rooms. It is on the Golden Circle, so it slots into a sightseeing day (/experience/17050/, /experience/624446/). The Blue Lagoon is a spa: silica masks, swim-up bar, saunas and a price to match. If you want a soak after a day of waterfalls, Secret Lagoon. If you want the spa day, Blue Lagoon.
Do I have to shower naked before a pool in Iceland?
Yes, at every public pool and most lagoons. Swimwear off, wash thoroughly with soap, swimwear on, then into the water. It is a hygiene rule because Icelandic pools use very little chlorine, and it is taken seriously. Changing rooms are single-sex with open showers; some larger lagoons have a few private cubicles. Nobody looks. It feels odd for thirty seconds and then it does not.
