About this experience

Join us for a winter adventure in the Krafla area of Lake Myvatn on snowshoes.

On this tour we will walk around in Krafla volcano park exploring the lava formations and steamy geothermal area in the winter wonder of lake Mývatn area

We will drive to Krafla from our office and start the tour there. The walk takes a little more than two hours so expect around a three hour excursion. Please dress warm as we will be in a mountain area in the cold and snow and bring drinks and a snack with you.

And if you want out because the forecast looks bad, that is your own cancellation: free until the cutoff shown above, the operator's policy after that.
