Blue Vacations - Blue View Cabins

Blue Vacations is a family run business located in the center of the Golden Circle where we have many of Iceland’s most precious attractions around us, such as Geysir hot spring, Gullfoss waterfall, Þingvellir national park, and Skálholt an episcopal and one of Iceland’s historical places for hundreds of years. We offer two types of accommodation, Blue Grove Hotel (Fagrilundur) and Blue View

Cabins. Just “next door” to the hotel we have a great restaurant, Mika, famous for their great pizza, lobster salad, and hand-made chocolates. Also next door we have minimarket Bjarnabúð, a self-service gas station, a public swimming pool with hot tubs. The guest house is next to Friðheimar – a famous greenhouse farm and a restaurant that mainly grows tomatoes and offers a wonderful lunch (soup/pasta/tortillas) which you enjoy inside the greenhouse.

Blue View Cabins are well located on top of a hill with a great 360-degree mountain range view on the Golden Circle route in the south of Iceland. A great place to stay and drive to interesting places in the south and west parts of Iceland. This Blue View Cabin has a private geothermally heated hot tub with miraculous views. We put our effort in making a cozy and comfortable accommodation for you when you return to your “home in Iceland” after experiencing many of our country´s great places!
