About Magma Hotel
Magma Hotel is a cabin style boutique hotel located in Landbrot, outside the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Our rooms are thoughtfully designed in a modern Nordic theme. Standard, Deluxe and Family rooms offer spectacular lake and lava field views from a private patio. In our surrounding area, we have a number of active volcanoes that have shaped the region. That is the reason for the name Magma Hotel and the reason we named all our rooms after an active volcano and the date of its last eruption.
At the hotel is a restuarant, Bistro 1783 which emphasises using locally grown produce. Please advice your clients to call ahead to make a dinner reservation before 17:30.
