All of the above is computed from Arctic Rafting's own 10 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

From the operator's own Bókun vendor record. The year is when the company's registration number was issued, which is the closest thing to a founding date that can be checked at skatturinn.is; the brand may be older or younger than the company. Their own site: arcticrafting.com — same price there as here.

Very accommodating and welcoming in every way! The guides are highly trained, engaging, and clearly enjoy being on the river. There are nice showers, hot tubs, and a sauna for after the trip. The restaurant and bar were excellent as well and I had the best hamburger for my entire trip in Iceland. Highly recommend!

I come to the rafting experience twice a year because I LOVE IT SO MUCH. What makes this experience fun are not only the rapids, but the guides on this trip. Victoria was our guide this year, and she was PHENOMENAL. She really made our trip unforgettable, she is hilarious, witty, easy going, and made sure everyone was safe all the time. I still remember her sense of humor in the middle of the day, and laugh a little. The other guides are also amazing, like Arjun. Very kind man, fun on the rafting, and super professional and overall fun.
I have done rafting experiences all over the world, but I always look forward to our rafting experience in Iceland with Arctic Rafting because of the guides and how fun they make it. I rarely write reviews, but I only do so when the experience is above and beyond, and Arctic Adventures, you deserve 10 stars!

Wonderful group of people. Our guide Victoria was very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. She and Armon (safety staff) gave our group a great time. The landscape was breathtaking. Our favorite part was the cliff jump. Unforgettable!!

Our guides that weigh up Arctic Rafting
Where we compare their tours with the alternatives — including when we say to book someone else.
No. We sell Arctic Rafting's tours at the price they set, through their own booking system, so the seat costs the same here as on their site. What you get here in addition is one checkout for every tour in your trip, whoever runs it, and one place to turn if plans change.
Does Arctic Rafting pick up from hotels?+
7 of their 10 tours include a pickup service; the rest start at a meeting point. Each tour page says which, and pickup is chosen at checkout.
What is Arctic Rafting's cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. The exact window is printed on every tour page and in your confirmation, and a refund goes back to the card you paid with.
Where do Arctic Rafting tours start?+
Their departures we sell start from Reykjavík, Selfoss. Check the map on each tour page for the exact meeting point.
Which languages are Arctic Rafting tours guided in?+
Their tours are guided in English and Icelandic, according to their own product records. Where a tour is audio-guided rather than led by a person, the tour page says so.
Is there a minimum age on Arctic Rafting tours?+
Yes, on 10 of their 10 tours, the lowest being 8. The rest set no minimum. The planner filters by your youngest traveller if you give it ages.
How is Arctic Rafting rated?+
4.9 out of 5 on Google from 139 reviews of the company. That is the operator's score, not a rating of any one tour; our own guests' reviews of their tours, where we have them, are shown on this page and on the tour pages.
Not sure which of these fits your dates? The planner checks real departures and builds the day around them.
