All of the above is computed from CityWalk Reykjavik's own 3 product records, not from a questionnaire. Fleet size and typical group sizes are the figures a comparison table usually shows; Bókun does not carry them, so we would be guessing, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it in.

From the operator's own Bókun vendor record. The year is when the company's registration number was issued, which is the closest thing to a founding date that can be checked at skatturinn.is; the brand may be older or younger than the company. Their own site: citywalk.is — same price there as here.

We spent about 2.5 hours on this entertaining and informative tour. Our guide was Martin (in English). He was wonderful and the time flew. We even had 2 high school students that talked to our group. Loved the Danish jokes and the Elf stories. Did you know Iceland does not have a military. Some of the facts we learned including some of the foods eaten that are on a questionable list. If you come do this tour!!!

Erik gave us a fascinating tour, especially of old Rejkavik with its corrugated ironclad wooden houses and the reclaimed waterfront area. Our guide answered lots of questions about the water supply, geothermal heating, taxation and imported labour from Poland. The sun shone hotly from deep blue sky throughout, more like the Cote d'Azur than close to the Arctic Circle. So unexpected for those forecasting cold rain.

Great tour by a passionate and informative guide named Martin. It was about two hours in the rain but we saw a lot and learned some cool things we didn’t know about Iceland and Icelandic ways. Only downside was sometimes it was hard to hear, it was a pretty big group and if you were farther out it was hard to hear.

My tour with Eric was incredible! He was charming, funny, kind, and insightful about the history of Reykjavik, Icelandic culture, and tons more. Not only was I engaged and entertained the entire time, I’ve taken away lessons and fun facts about the city and country that I was not privy too prior. Very grateful for this program — they’re a great way to explore the city, meet people, and learn something new!

Is it cheaper to book CityWalk Reykjavik directly?+
No. We sell CityWalk Reykjavik's tours at the price they set, through their own booking system, so the seat costs the same here as on their site. What you get here in addition is one checkout for every tour in your trip, whoever runs it, and one place to turn if plans change.
Does CityWalk Reykjavik pick up from hotels?+
None of the 3 CityWalk Reykjavik tours we sell includes a hotel pickup. Each tour page gives the meeting point — they start from Reykjavík.
What is CityWalk Reykjavik's cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. The exact window is printed on every tour page and in your confirmation, and a refund goes back to the card you paid with.
Where do CityWalk Reykjavik tours start?+
Their departures we sell start from Reykjavík. Check the map on each tour page for the exact meeting point.
Which languages are CityWalk Reykjavik tours guided in?+
Their tours are guided in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Icelandic, according to their own product records. Where a tour is audio-guided rather than led by a person, the tour page says so.
How is CityWalk Reykjavik rated?+
4.9 out of 5 on Google from 935 reviews of the company. That is the operator's score, not a rating of any one tour; our own guests' reviews of their tours, where we have them, are shown on this page and on the tour pages.
Not sure which of these fits your dates? The planner checks real departures and builds the day around them.
