I had the best experience at Reykjaböð! Located just right outside of Reykjavik, it is only a short drive from the capital to the perfect way to relax and enjoy Icelandic culture and beautiful nature. I highly recommend Reykjaböð, the ritual and the bathouse experience was amazing!

It’s a brand new geothermal bath that opened in August 2026. There are still some kinks to work out like the steam room in the bath house. It’s definitely the best and largest common pool area in Iceland with clear water, and lots of visible benches. There is a great swim up bar. In bad weather , the premium ticket with bath house might be worth it.

The best place to recharge your batteries! I spent a week in Iceland and visited Reykjaböð three times — and I would have gone even more if I’d stayed longer! Such a relaxing and special place. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back!
