The Blue Lagoon sits beside Grindavík, where eruptions have repeatedly forced it to close at short notice since 2023 — sometimes for weeks. Book it, but do not make it the only thing you have planned for that day, and check their own site the morning you go. Operators refund or rebook when it shuts, and so do we.
