Would this be cheaper direct? No — we sell at Reykjavik Bike Tours's own price and take our commission from them, not from you. What you get here is one checkout across operators, one confirmation, and one place to change or cancel it. If you ever find it cheaper on their own site, tell us and we will match it or explain why we cannot.

About this experience
Every Segway tour is a unique adventure, and this one is no exception. We begin at the charming Reykjavik Old Harbor, then glide effortlessly along the stunning north coast of the peninsula. Our first stop is the breathtaking Harpa Concert Hall, an architectural wonder, followed by the iconic Sun Voyager sculpture that gazes out over the sea. Next, we visit Hofdi House, the historic site where Presidents Reagan and Gorbachev met in 1986, marking a pivotal moment in history. We then cruise past the towering Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavik's magnificent church, before exploring the vibrant city center, the Parliament building, and the lively main street. All this and more, in a fun and relaxing ride that lets you take in the best of Reykjavik with ease.
Prior to the tour there is a 5-10 minute refreshing course on how to use the Segway properly.

Cancellation for this tour
Cancelling costs 10% of the price within 365 days of departure, rising to 50% within 7 days. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund or a new date.
If the weather cancels this tour
Iceland's weather is real. What usually stops this one is a forecast the operator judges unsafe. Here is exactly what happens to your booking.
- 1Reykjavik Bike Tours decides, and tells us. Operators cancel when it is unsafe or pointless, and we back that call every time — we do not ask them to run anyway.
- 2We contact you by email, and by phone if your tour is the same or next day. You choose: another date if there is one you can make, or a full refund. There is no fee and nothing to argue.
- 3The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually visible within a few working days. If this tour was one of several in your booking, the others are untouched.
What you do not get is the day back. If this is the only free day in your plan, put a spare day next to it — the planner leaves days free with the rest-day option. And if you want out because the forecast looks bad, that is your own cancellation: free until the cutoff shown above, the operator's policy after that.
Questions on the day: [email protected] · +354 497 1373. How cancellations work in Iceland →
Sold out on your date?
Seats come back — a cancellation, or the operator adding a vehicle. Tell us the date and we will check once a day and email you if one opens. One email, then we delete the address; nothing else is ever sent to it.
Who this is not for
- Not for families with children under 15 — the operator will not take them, even with a parent.
Read off the operator's own conditions. If none of it applies to you, this is a good one.
Why we list it
Reykjavik Bike Tours is one of 154 operators we work with — chosen for reliability, honest descriptions and how they treat guests when weather changes plans. We don't list everything; we list what we'd book ourselves. The six checks every operator passes →

We had a wonderful bike tour with our guide, Adam! The bicycles were in excellent condition, and we enjoyed exploring Reykjavik and the beautiful coastline. Adam customized the tour to fit our interests, and his knowledge of Iceland and its culture was incredible - he answered all of our (many!) questions with enthusiasm. His passion for Iceland really came through and made the experience even more special. We would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone visiting Reykjavik!

The best introduction to Reykjavik! Take this tour! George is simply the heart of the city. His love of the city, his knowledge of history was like watching Hamilton! One of our best memories of our time in all of Iceland and set us up to understand the city & the country. Our highest recommendation - !!

Iga and Tomas were amazing at helping me enjoy Iceland by bike! They worked hard to secure me a gravel bike that fit well, communicated often, and made my trip a BLAST! You won’t be disappointed by their service or selection. Cannot recommend using them enough! As you can see, I was on a Celebrity Cruise and took the bike all around the country!

Our 13-mile "Coast of Reykjavik Bike Tour" was fun and filled with local insights thanks to our guide; George was witty and exceedingly knowledgeable. Actually, the tour was part coast and part city. And there was ample time to enjoy the sights. Plus, George had an answer for each of our many questions. A FIVE STAR experience, for sure!
