Take some time to play with huskies in this unique experience. In this particular visit, you won’t just be meeting a working sled dog, you will be meeting a member of the family.

If you love kisses, you will be in the right place. These huskies love to give all the kisses you desire and love to meet new people. This is the perfect combination of love, cuddles and photos. This visit can last up to an hour.

You can take as many amazing pictures as you want on this tour and at the same time cuddle up with our gorgeous huskies who live in our house with us just outside of Akureyri.

Both children and adults will love this tour. Huskies are very intelligent, curious and friendly, making this the perfect tour for families.

This was such a great experience, both my teenage children rated this as the best experience of the holiday :) The dogs are super friendly! We picked the hike with husky (visited in June), and it was a lot different than I imagined (walking a dog in the forest). The biggest surprise is how strong the dogs are. They pull you with incredible strength :) At the end of the 1-hour hike, you get another 1-hour of petting husky and visiting the house. The owners are very friendly and with many funny stories to share. They have 30 husky dogs, they know all of them by name and ancestry, and you can see they really love their dogs.

We had a fantastic time hiking with the huskies. Gunni and Mara are fantastic hosts, and the dogs are treated as family. Dogs are very friendly and love being petted. One of the highlights of my holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Amazing experience with 30 huskies you get to pat. I went on the cart and the sled and both were great. They were comfortable and I felt very safe. The scenery is amazing and the owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly love what they do and love all of their dogs. Afterward being out we went inside for hot chocolate and to learn some more about the dogs and the wool they make out of their hair. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend had taken me here as a surprise trip and i couldn’t have been more grateful. we were welcomed with a choir of howls and greeted by a very genuine couple María and Gunnar. The hike was about an hour with a beautiful scenery. Very easy even if you're an inexperienced hiker and/or dog walker. Gunnar had taken us through a tour where we talked about his dogs, how they were/are trained, iclandic culture and even our personal endeavors. After the walk we were welcomed into their home with the pups for a tour and some refreshments. Delicious hot chocolate btw. You can tell how much Gunnar and María love their pups. It was genuinely the best part of my trip here in iceland. Id recommend this trip to anyone considering traveling here even if it’s hours away. It is worth it.
