About this experience

Enjoy a special, private day trip to Iceland's famous Golden Circle. We'll pick you up from your place in Reykjavik and take you in a comfortable car, just for you.

First, we'll go to Þingvellir National Park. It's a very important place where you can walk between two continents. Your guide will tell you stories about old Icelandic meetings that happened there.

Then, we'll stop at Öxarárfoss, a pretty waterfall. It's easy to walk to and take pictures.

Next, we'll visit Efstidalur II, a family farm. You can see animals and take a break.

After that, we'll go to Geysir. Here, hot water shoots up from the ground. It's called Strokkur, and it's amazing to see.

Then, we'll see Gullfoss, a big and beautiful waterfall. You can take lots of pictures from different places.

We'll also visit Friðheimar, a tomato farm. It's inside a warm greenhouse. You'll learn how they grow tomatoes in Iceland.

Finally, we'll go to Kerið Crater, a lake inside a volcano. You can walk around it and see the great view.

After the tour, we'll drive you back to your place in Reykjavik. We'll get you back in the late afternoon or early evening.

    Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights, even though we had 2 goes at it! Each trip took us to different places, and although the forecast was apparently very good on the second attempt, we still didn’t see any, despite the enthusiasm and knowledge of both guides. Laura was the perfect guide, with her knowledge and enthusiasm. The hot chocolate drink and pastries were very welcome, and the dark skies on the second night were quite spectacular on their own!

    The tour with Magda was super, she told us a lot of information about Landmannalaugar and the hike was really beautiful! Relaxing in the hot spring at the end was also very nice. All in all a great adventure 👍
