About this experience

Landed early or flying out late? Don't drag your suitcases around Reykjavik. Hand them to our team at the BagBee desk inside the BSI bus terminal — the same terminal where the Flybus airport shuttle stops — and enjoy the city bag-free.

This is a staffed desk, not a bank of lockers: a real person takes your bags and hands them straight back when you're ready. No codes to remember, no wrestling an oversized case into a too-small door.

It's a favourite on cruise disembarkation day — drop your bags in the morning, spend a full day in Reykjavik, then collect them on your way to the Flybus and your evening flight.

How it works:

1. Book online and pick a size for each item: standard bag, or small item under 50 cm (backpack, purse). Storage is priced per bag.

2. Bring your bags to the BagBee desk at BSI, open daily 09:00 to 17:00 during the summer season, June 1 to September 30.

3. Explore Reykjavik bag-free — the city centre is on your doorstep.

4. Collect any time before closing. Flying late? Add the paid self-service pickup option at booking and collect after 17:00.

- The staffed desk runs summers only. Travelling in winter? Our self-service lockers are the off-season alternative.

For multi day storage, simply book the first day and then notify the receptionist when you deliver your bags to storage that you would like to add more days.

- Summer (June 1st - September 15th): From 06:45 to 17:00 (6:45 am to 5pm)
- Winter (September 16th - May 31st): from 08:30 to 16:00 (8:30am to 4pm)

Cancellation for this tour

Free cancellation until 2 hours before departure; no refund after that. If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund or a new date.

What a genius business idea with excellent follow-through. So many travelers have super early flights or late afternoon/evening flights and don’t know what to do with their luggage in the in-between check-in for their accommodations. BagBee is a wonderful company to deal with. My travel companions and I needed our luggage picked up from the Midbakki pier while we spent our last day touring Reykjavik. They provided excellent service. They took our check in luggage straight to the airport and checked them in for us, and at our request, held our hand carryon luggage at the BSI terminal to. pick up on our way to the airport. They answered emails promptly and provided pictures of luggage location every step of the way. The employees are vetted by the police and must complete airport compliance training, also. I highly recommend using them.
