Sky Lagoon transfer or a day tour that ends there
A private transfer to Sky Lagoon costs from €81 a vehicle. A south coast or Golden Circle day tour with the lagoon included costs €183 to €220 a person.

The short version
- Sky Lagoon is in Kópavogur, about 10 minutes from central Reykjavík. A private transfer starts at about €81 per vehicle.
- Day tours that finish at the lagoon list at €183 to €220 and include the entry ticket.
- The lagoon ticket alone from VAREN Iceland is about €161 for the Sér package with private changing rooms.
- Guests must be 12 or older to enter Sky Lagoon, so these combos are not for young children.
If you only want the lagoon, take a private transfer from about €81 or ride in with a taxi. If you also want a day out, a tour that ends at the lagoon is usually the better deal, because the entry ticket is already in the price.
Just the lagoon: three ways to get there
Sky Lagoon sits on the coast in Kópavogur, a short drive from the centre. There are no good walking routes.
- Private transfer. The VAREN Iceland transfer is about €81 and is priced per vehicle, not per person. A sedan takes three people, a van takes eight. You can book one way or a return, and add a ticket at checkout. Another one-way option is the Pickmeup.is private transfer at about €103.
- Admission with a transfer in one booking. The Sky Lagoon admission with private transfer is about €278 and includes the Ritual and a towel. Read the group size before you book, because transfer products are not always per person.
- Your own ticket and a taxi. Often the cheapest, but you need to find the return ride at the lagoon.
The Sky Lagoon Experience Ticket from VAREN Iceland is about €161 and covers the Sér package, with private changing facilities. The Saman package, with public changing, is the cheaper one, and it is the one most visitors pick. If that is you, check the price on the booking page.
Day tours that end at the lagoon
This is where most people should look. All three below include the entry. They are priced per person.
- South Coast & Sky Lagoon, BusTravel Iceland, about €220 and 13 hours. Reynisfjara, Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, Vík, then the lagoon with the Pure Pass ticket and the seven-step Ritual.
- Golden Circle, Friðheimar & Sky Lagoon, small group, about €210 and 11 hours. Þingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss and Kerið, then a tomato and horse farm visit, then the lagoon.
- Glacier Hike, Waterfall, Black Beach and Sky Lagoon, about €183 and 13 hours. A Sólheimajökull glacier hike, Seljalandsfoss, and the lagoon. The hike makes it the most physical option, and the shuttle from the lagoon back to your hotel is not included.
For a lighter day, Full Day Chasing Waterfalls and Sky Lagoon Baths is about €266 and 8 hours.
What is worth knowing
The tours end at the lagoon, so you finish tired, in a swimsuit and with wet hair, in a country where the evenings can be cold. Bring a hat.
The long tours are long. A 13-hour south coast day followed by a soak is good if you like a full day and a poor idea if you land that morning. If you have just flown in, see our first day in Iceland guide.
Sky Lagoon needs an age of 12, and the pricing categories on these tours start at 12 or 14. A family with younger children cannot use any of the above.

Our honest take
If you are a pair or a group of three who just want the lagoon, book the €81 private transfer and your own ticket. If you are driving nowhere else, a combined tour is the better use of a day, and the €183 to €220 range is fair given the ticket is in it. Pick the south coast tour if you have not seen it. Pick the Golden Circle one if you have a short stay and want the tomato farm. Skip the transfer-plus-ticket bundles at €278 unless the group size works out for you.
